Wake Forest University adds StatMonitr for 2013-14

WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Wake Forest University and StatBroadcast Systems reached agreement today to use the StatMonitr media stats system at the university's athletic events in 2013-14.

Wake Forest University is a private university located in Winston-Salem, North Carolian, that was founded in 1834; Wake Forest's enrollment last year was 4,815. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and sponsor 16 varsity teams at the Division I level. The Demon Deacons have won 8 national championships, including four in women's field hockey. The Wake Forest football team won the ACC Championship Game in 2006 and became the smallest school to ever compete in the Bowl Championship Series, appearing in the Orange Bowl. The Deacons men's basketball team has appeared in the NCAA Tournament 22 times, reaching the Elite Eight six times and the Final Four in 1962.

Wake Forest is the eighth member of the ACC to use StatBroadcast's technologies; the ACC also uses StatBroadcast for its football and basketball championships; Wake Forest is the sixth school from North Carolina to partner with StatBroadcast.
