BCS Stats Systems to provide StatMonitr and StatBroadcast services at the 2010 Paradise Jam Basketball Tournaments in the US Virgin Islands

EDMONDS, WASH. -- BCS Stats and Systems and Basketball Travelers Inc. announced today they have entered into a partnership for the 2010 Paradise Jam Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments this November. BCS Stats will provide its StatMonitr wireless stat screens and web-based media stats as well as its StatBroadcast live stats for fans for the two tournaments which will be played in St. Thomas of the U.S. Virgin Islands, November 19-22 and 25-27, 2010.

In its tenth year, The U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam holds two eight-team tournaments for Division-I men's and women's basketball programs, around the Thanksgiving holiday. With historically strong fields, the Paradise Jam gives basketball teams the chance for excellent early season competition, in four games that do not count against the NCAA's 28-game limit for the regular season, because they are played off of the United States mainland. The tournament is held at the University of Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center. The 2010 men's tournament field is made up of Alabama, Clemson, Iowa, Long Beach State, Old Dominion, Seton Hall, St. Peters and Xavier. The women's tournament participants include Iowa State, TCU, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Missouri and Tennessee.

The tournament is organized by Basketball Travelers, Inc. Basketball Travelers was established in 1985 to arrange domestic and international basketball competition for both collegiate and high school teams. Basketball Travelers will host 18 events this season, including the Paradise Jam, the Junkanoo Jam and the San Diego Surf 'N Slam.
